2008 ELECTION DAY COUNTDOWN

 March 3, 1913, nearly six weeks after its founding, several Delta Sigma Theta Founders marched in the historic Suffragist March under the Delta Sigma Theta Banner, the Sorority's first public act.  Today, we continue the struggle to maintain equality and fairness to all.  Be an informed citizen and exercise your right to vote!

Delta GEMS: Growing and Empowering Myself Successfully.

Delta GEMS is coming to Bloomington-Normal in 2008!  Information will be sent to local area junior and senior high schools in January 2008.  Participation is open to young women between the ages of 14 and 18.

Total Woman: Mind, Body and Spirit

The Physical and Mental Health Committee is embarking upon a year-long effort to educate and promote a healthy lifestyle for women with an emphasis on the Black woman. 

The Weight Loss Challenge Team meets on the 2nd Saturday of each month for approximately an hour to discuss proper nutrition, exercise tips, stress management and meditation.

Participation is open to women who want to improve and maintain a "healthy lifestyle".  Fees may be incurred for participation in the comprehensive body fat analysis and specialized group classes.
